One of Dorset’s finest Gardens, with over 30 acres of rare and exotic species. Because of its coastal position and sheltered valley situation, the Gardens have their own microclimate, allowing subtropical plants to grow in abundance.
On site is a gift shop, selling a range of beautiful items for the home, as well as local gifts and toys for kids. The coffee shop serves light meals, hot and cold drinks. The plant centre stocks a wide range of high quality plants grown at the onsite nurseries. The shop, Plant Centre and coffee shop are available to visit without purchasing a ticket for the Gardens.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and a dual ticket discount is available when ordering tickets for the Swannery and the Subtropical Gardens at the same time.
