Spring arrives at Sherborne Castle

The magnificent towering displays of magnolia blossom have given way to cherry and forsythia. Sweeping carpets of daffodils, narcissus, anemones, fritillaries and tulips provide gorgeous splashes of colour. Our garden has certainly sprung into life. Bring your dog and take a short or long walk past garden features such as the lake, fossil house, cascade, folly and boat house pier. Children will love our new garden trail. The Castle opens on Good Friday, come and discover the great stories of the house. History will come alive.
