Do you Promise to Love Dorset? In Dorset, we are lucky to have mile upon mile of beautiful…
Catch the Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival!
Whatever your plans this summer, be sure to catch the award-winning Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival taking place on the Weymouth Peninsula, the very end of Weymouth’s beautiful sandy beach and the start of the historic harbourside, on 11 & 12 September 2021.
Here at Best of Dorset Attractions, we’re delighted to be a sponsor partner to the Festival. It raises funds for the Fishermen’s Mission – the vital port of call for fishermen and their families.
The award winning Festival not only offers some of the best seafood in the South West. It also brings together talented chefs and fine English Sparkling Wine. That’s all part of a truly educational and immersive festival programme.
Some welcome changes
With the festival less than eight weeks away, the recent announcements from the government have given organisers the opportunity to make some welcome changes to this year’s event.
To-date they have been offering tickets for morning or afternoon sessions, giving as many people as possible the chance to attend.
Since the lifting of restrictions, tickets are now available for a whole day at the same price of £10 per person. Children under 16 can still attend free of charge. Tickets already purchased for a morning or afternoon session will automatically be valid for the whole day too.

NEW – BLUE Seas at the Dorset Seafood Festival
A new feature this year is ‘BLUE Seas’. With the spotlight often on our beautiful coast, it is hard to always understand how we can eat seafood sustainably. BLUE is a global marine conservation charity working to promote marine protected areas and sustainable fisheries. The charity will be hosting a series of speakers, videos, and Q&A sessions throughout the weekend in the BLUE Seas marquee.
