Unlocking the fun at Adventure Wonderland in Dorset

Unlock the fun at Adventure Wonderland

Adventure Wonderland is unlocking the fun at Dorset’s No 1 family theme park on 4th July.

A wide range of outside rides and attractions will be open daily including family favourites such as Jungle Falls, Battle Boats, Wild Bill’s Runaway Train and the Turbo Teacups.  Families will ride together and there will be no mixing with others. Ride carriage distancing and cleaning will also be in operation.

Visitors will also be able to see the pint-sized ponies in Shetland World, get lost in the south’s largest hedge maze and get adventurous in the outdoor play areas.

There will also be resident characters, such as Alice and the Mad Hatter, on hand to greet visitors and for photo opportunities in a socially distanced Tea Party setting.

Grab and go refreshments will be available in the Wild Thing Café and the outdoor Flamingos snack shack. There’s also lots of outdoor space for playing and picnicking.

For inquisitive visitors there’s the outdoor Alice Trail where they can find out more about the story of Alice in Wonderland.

All the recommended safety measures have been implemented to keep the park COVID secure, ensuring the safety of visitors and staff.  This includes staff PPE, intensive cleaning regimes, sanitiser stations all across the park, social distancing demarcation lines at queuing points and one way systems where necessary.

Limited tickets for half day sessions are available via online pre-booking only in order to ensure visitor numbers are kept strictly within government guidelines.  The park will be open daily and the half day sessions will run from 9.30am – 1pm and 2pm – 5.30pm.  Entry  for adults and children 3+ years – £10, 2 year olds, seniors and registered disabled – £5.
